How To Format Your Underground Strength Coach Affiliate Link and How To Point To Any USC Content Page With Your Affiliate Link...

Printer-Friendly Format

Once you have signed up for an affiliate account at Underground Strength Coach you are now ready to start promoting and marketing this membership site.

Marketing the Underground is simple. All you do is put your special affiliate link on your webpages or in your newsletters to send traffic to the Underground Stregth Coach.com website.

These links are called "affiliate links" and they are important because this is how our affiliate software keeps track of the traffic that you send to Underground Strength Coach.com and gives your credit for the sales that you generate.

So the first step after you have signed up for your affiliate account is to understand how to make your affiliate link. Keep in mind, if you make your link incorrectly, that is kind of like putting an ad in the yellow pages and using the wrong phone number! (YOU are responsible to make sure your affiliate link are coded correctly!!!)

Here is how to correctly make your affiliate link:

Here is the correct format for your link:

http://www.undergroundstrengthcoach.com/index.cfm?affID=XXXXXX

The XXXXXX is your unique affiliate ID that you selected when you joined the USC affiliate program.

So now, all you have to do is insert YOUR affiliate ID in the place where the X's are located.

For example, if your affiliate ID is 'kyleb' (hint: it's NOT - use YOUR unique affiliate ID that you chose when you signed up for this affiliate program, this is just an example, then the complete affiliate link would look like this:

http://www.undergroundstrengthcoach.com/index.cfm?affID=kyleb

That's all there is to it.

When someone clicks through YOUR affiliate link, they are redirected to www.Undergroundstrengthcoach.com and a "cookie" (a small tracking file) is dropped onto the computer of the visitor. This "marks" that visitor as coming from your referral.

Our affiliate software uses cookies that last 999 days (some programs only have cookies that last 30-60 days)! So this means if the people you send to Undergroundstrengthcoach.com purchase that day or if they return any time within the next 999 days, you will get the comission for the sale (currently paying out 50% commissions on most of our products).

I have one suggestion.

If you are using your affiliate link on a web page, it is best you use a "DISPLAY URL" of www.Undergroundstrengthcoach.com rather than exposing your actual affiliate link on the page.

Tests have shown that when people realize they are being sold something on a commission basis (as opposed to simply getting a "recommendation" from an independent 3rd party), the conversion rates may drop, therefore it's best to "hide" your affiliate link in your HTML code as the display link.

Some advanced internet marketers even use "link cloaking" for this reason (and other reasons), but that will be a subject in another section of your affiliate training.

OTHER LINKING OPTIONS:

The Membergate software that we use to run the Underground offers affiliates the ability to direct traffic to Specific pages on our site.

This is a very powerful apllication of our software!!

For example, here is my unique affiliate link that will send people right to the main page (simply replace the affiliate ID at the end with your affiliate ID):

http://www.undergroundstrengthcoach.com/index.cfm?affID=kbattis

However, I would recommend directing your affiliate traffic directly to this Sales Letter Page (that way you will likely get higher conversions. I have had great results from some of my initial affiliate marketing tests): http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/public/10.cfm?affID=kbattis

Keep in mind that you can send prospects to ANY page on our site so if you find a page you would like to direct some traffic to then use the format above (of course substituting the correct page number) and simply send traffic to that page.

If you have any questions about formatting your link please contact me directly by e-mailing me. To contact me Click Here!
